Specialist, Jean-Loup J.M. Chretien, (CNES) Mission Specialist, Wendy B. Lawrence (2), Mission
Specialist, David A. Wolf (2), Mission Specialist.
NOTE: Wendy B. Lawrence était prévue remplacer C. Michael Foale à

Launch - 36 Update
L
minus 36 Weeks to Launch---1/1/97: Like all web pages, this is a
site-in-evolution. The orbiter crew was just announced
3 weeks ago (12/6/96), so the roles and responsibilities of the crew members are
still being ironed out. The crew also had the traditional announcement party at The
Outpost, a fine local establishment... Shuttle
Mission Simulator (SMS) training will begin the second week in February. The
crew is currently taking Single
System Trainer (SST) lessons and doing other reviews in anticipation of this
more complex training.
The long-duration crew members are also due back in Houston in early January for
science training along with their cosmonaut counterparts and backup crews.

paparazzi là-haut!
